DATA4PT is happy to announce it is hosting a session during the ITS World Congress, held from 11 to 15 October in Hamburg. The session ‘Yes, we share! Advancing MaaS and harnessing the power of data’ will take place on 12 October (14.00 – 15.30)
Gathering international speakers and experts from key organisations including the European Commission, European transport ministries as well as North American and international associations, the session aims to provide insights into the key challenges and motivations in data sharing, outlining frameworks and policy approaches to enable businesses and policies from data.
Speakers will highlight the importance of data-sharing and standards to enable seamless mobility, to advance MaaS and to harness the power of data to support public policies. Among the building blocks addressed, the session will explore how the National Access Points (NAPs) can facilitate the deployment and scalability of MaaS in Europe and how European and international initiatives (such as Data4PT, NAPCORE and MobilityData) could support the harmonised development of the sector, addressing capacity building among Authorities and Operators.
